If everything's right, something is wrong. (?!?)
Does it mean imperfection is inherent in god's creation? (Wait a minute, isn't god supposed to be perfect?) Or are we too cynical to see the obvious? Or is it that the fear of being at a later stage makes us too careful (or paranoid) ?
If we consider an implicit imperfection, remember, it is us who are "considering" it -as in we assume there is an inherent flaw. Does it mean we cannot appreciate things unless and until juxtaposed with a contrasting thought? If we consider, again we are "considering", that god has created an imperfect world, it can mean just one- that we need a scapegoat. Ultimately, it all boils down to the wrong way we view things. Anything can be completely and wholly right- unless we are too afraid of perfection. Or, giving an importance to the ends rather than to the means.

Depends a lot on the context in which the argument was made. But sometimes it is better to assume an inherent flaw in certain cases. It's better to be prepared for the worst.
Say for example a civil engineer should maintain a factor of safety greater than 3.5 for extra safety.

The purpose of GOD they say is the attribute of perfection and hence the relative imperfections !! Why would anyone make an equal of him/herself anyway ? ;)

@Abhishek: the post applies to evry context. and a civil engr wudnt perhaps maintain that FOS had it not been for the imperfection in other related things... like the beams r structures

@ Neo: there is nothing relative..everything is absolute..dat was implied in my post!!! duhh! nd every human is part of god..an intelligent fellow strives to achieve perfection and become one with the absolute...perfection is attainable..

@ Yeshu: dat's the way it is man!!!

Here's a theory I came across somewhere. I won't disclose the source.
The world around us is reaching new levels of complexities, new levels of imperfection with each passing attosecond. Its law of entropy at play. From simple gases, we have complex compounds. From singled celled organisms to koala bears. The theory states: Limit (imperfection --> infinity) = GOD. God, more commonly known as Gawd, is the state of complete randomness, complete imperfection. Its the perfect state of imperfection. We are all moving towards God hence we must feel happy about it.
PS: I can't believe you read through that. The source is Shantaram by the way. Read that!

I guess it's all in the mind rather than in a creation. And the so called society has influeced us at a concious as well as the subconcious level on how to view at things which inturn defines what is perfect and imperct. Otherwise, everything is just about perfect (It needs an eye that is free from ANY sort of influence to see this...)

ps: probably god's the only one with this eye (PJ stamp) :P
